The Duo Ring draws inspiration from Mesoamerican nose and ear ornaments, known for their flared terminals in elegant c or u shaped forms. More than adornment, these pieces carried ceremonial and cultural meaning, gold ornaments like nose rings signified the wearer’s elevated rank and semi divine status, honored both in life and in death.
