The Ceremonia Studs are inspired by the ornaments adorning ritual and ceremonial objects such as Mesoamerican beakers, knives, vessels, and figures. Made of copper, gold, or bronze, these objects featured iconography and designs with embossed or repoussé discs and circles. Some human like figures representing ancient shamans, created in solid gold, displayed these spherical forms on their headdresses and bodies.
