Inspired by the Mesoamerican use of inlaid shell and copper discs in intricate works such as burial sculptures and jaguar representations, this ring carries forward those circular echoes. Round, hand cut cabs of smoky quartz from Chihuahua sits alongside pink faceted tourmaline, while turquoise cabs from Sonora pair with green faceted tourmaline. Their contrasting colors interact like a cendal, a soft, luminous ribbon of light that shimmers and drifts like dawn or candlelight.
