A small altar built for a gem. At its center sits an amber, hand cut in Mexico, formed from ancient resin over millions of years in the Chiapas region. Ambar held deep cultural and spiritual significance in Mesoamerica. Highly valued by Indigenous peoples, particularly the Maya, it was used in rituals, as offerings, and in jewelry. It holds a natural warmth and depth unique to the area, paired with smoky quartz that echoes the colors and light of its golden tones.
