Three neighborhoods or "Tres Barrios" conform San Juan Chamula, a municipality in Chiapas, Mx. It is inhabited by the Tzotzil people, many of which speak their native language and practices are still rooted to their ancestors. Their religion is a syncretism of prehispanic beliefs and Catholicism represented in the San Juan Church. The floor completely covered in green pine boughs and candles, with no pews, a big open space surrounded by wood saints and devoted locals.
